The company was established by Carola Lachmann & Stefan Michaelis in 1994. |

Carola previously worked for 10 years as a high profile still life photographer throughout Europe and Stefan has been involved in the glass-making industry for the past 15 years, having trained in both Germany and Great Britain. |

|
Together with their highly skilled team they produce glass designs of outstanding quality and elegance in their studio, situated in Edinburgh. |
||||||
|
AFTER DARK is also renowned for its art and design work in glass, and collaborations with other designers and artists. These designs have been widely exhibited in the UK and overseas. AFTER DARK continues to strive to enhance recognition of art in glass throughout Scotland and the UK.
